This is a short sharp climb to a great viewpoint for the whole of the Langdale valley.  You can see the Langdale Pikes, Bow Fell, Crinkle Crags, Pike o'Blisco and Wetherlam from Lingmoor.  You can visit Blea Tarn on the way back to the car park.   Here is my tracklog of the route with some photos:  http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=22416 .
